Your Teacher

Gregory Matarazzo Jr.

Hi! I'm Gregory, a Certified Meditation Teacher, Sound Bath Facilitator, and founder of Further North Wellness in Missoula, Montana.I am dedicated to fostering balance and well-being through sound baths, meditation, mindfulness practices, and community-centered wellness experiences rooted in empathy, positivity, and gratitude. My wellness journey began in a cloud forest on the slopes of the Hualālai Volcano on Hawaii's Big Island, where I connected deeply with the transformative power of meditation and sound. Bringing that energy back to Montana I studied with local mentors in the Pacific Northwest and renowned sound practitioners in Chiang Mai, Thailand. My wellness journey spans Asheville, Austin, Hawaii & Nicaragua, though my heart remains in Missoula.Certified by the Yoga Alliance (YACEP), I have also received the Five Mindfulness Trainings through Ordination Teacher 'Master Trung Quang Nhat Hanh' of the Lam Te (Linji) Dhyana School.Through ordination I have received the Dharma name of Ever-Deepening Mindfulness of the Source.
